Teen Tech Week at CBCMR will include a mini Comic Con. This will be held on Thursday, March 12th, during the lunch period at the school library. Space is limited so please let me know by Tuesday, March 10, 2015, if you’re interested in participating (in person o via e-mail, see contact info below).
Participation includes the following:
- Setting up an exhibit with materials related to comics, graphic novels (Manga & Anime are accepted); materials may include video games;
- Dressing up as a character from a comic series;
- Presenting your exhibit to judges if entering the competition for best exhibit of the comic con.
Prizes will be awarded for best displays.
All materials, including costumes, should be age-appropriate and abide by the school’s code of conduct and appearance.
Each participant shall be responsible for all electronic devices used during the Beato Mini Comic Con. These should be fully charged before the event takes place.
A note about photographs:
Our official photographer for the Beato Mini Comic Con, Irisjan Pereles, will be available to take pictures during the event. Students interested in having their pictures taken should make an appointment with her. Photo sessions will be for that day only and during the lunch period. Price for one photo session is a dollar and may include up to 2 people.
