2020-2021 IT Club Meeting #11: Engineering

Engineering: Terms, concepts and processes

That was our topic at todays’ meeting. If you are into gaming and graphics, you might want to check out “liquid crystals.” And what about hydroforming?  What is it good for?  Well for one, working with metals for vehicles.  This technology is used in the production of car engine cradles, aluminum bike frames, satellite antennas, and even saxophone tubing!

How does it work? It uses pressure with liquids to form the part made of metal.
